As a local business

Millions of people visit the North-west’s beaches every year – taking a dip in the sea, wandering along the beach and playing in the sand. The natural beauty of the coast is a real driver of the economy and the fallout of a failing bathing water beach could be devastating to local businesses and jobs, causing visitors to go elsewhere.

That’s why we have put together an action plan full of information and ideas about how businesses can operate in a beach friendly way. Hotels, B&Bs, bars and restaurants can all become LOVEmyBEACH businesses simply by making small changes to the way they work.

When we all work together, change is possible.

The pack comes with useful resources to encourage staff and customers to think how they too can back the campaign, and together we can see how the small changes result in cleaner seas.”
