Find a beach

The beaches are open all year round in the UK but use of the water is only advised between May and September. This it the times of the year when the Environment Agency collects water samples at each beach to analyse the cleanliness of bathing waters where many people swim and paddle.

From 2015 four years of data (up to 80 samples) give one of the following annual classifications: Excellent, Good, Sufficient or Poor.
